A friend of mine recommended that I try Trader Joe's Bool Kogi beef. This is a pre-marinated package of raw, boneless beef ribs. The seasonings are mainly sesame, garlic, and green onion, with a lot of sugar. It's very tasty! I think it would be best served with a good helping of starch (rice or noodles), since the seasonings and sweetness are pretty strong. The package says "grill quickly". I took their advice a little too well, and my first attempt came out "medium". I am pretty sure these thin strips of beef should pretty well cooked -- probably no pink in the middle.
I grilled the beef over charcoal, and stir-fried some baby bok choi. I chose steamed rice over noodles this time.
